Gateway Update Concerning COVID

“Do not forsake our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.”

Hebrews 10:25

Faith and prayer: Based on the above and other biblical exhortations, we believe it is always God’s will that we assemble. With God’s will is also God’s provision of wisdom. We will be intentional to pray for the Lord’s continued protection from Covid for our church family concerning all gatherings and functions on and off church grounds. We will also again be wise in our interactions with one another here at the church and in each other’s homes.

Each family assumes personal responsibility for their loved ones.

  • While masks are not required, we want you to feel free to wear a mask without sensing condemnation.  Also, Gateway holds no position on vaccinations.  Again, we want people to act according to one’s conviction before God (Romans 14:1-10).
  • Stay home if you are sick: Just like any other time in our history—sick and contagious people should stay home.

By faith we believe, pray, and look to God and His protection so that Gateway gatherings will be a safe and healthy experience for everyone.
