Travis Whitman

Youth Pastor

Travis and Renee both grew up in Ohio and moved to Florida in 2018 after serving as missionaries with Ethnos360 in Paraguay, South America for 7 years.  They have been married for 19 years and have 3 boys: Canaan, Isaiah, and Jordan.  Travis holds a bachelor’s degree in Cross Cultural Missions/Biblical Studies.  Travis has over 20 years’ experience working with youth.

For the past 2 years, he has served as a Vocational teacher to at-risk teenage boys in Brooksville.  Before that he served many years as Director of The Barn, an inner-city Christian recreational youth center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and as Senior Caregiver at Wallace Memorial Church B/A School Program also in Tennessee.  Renee has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and in Cross Cultural Missions/Biblical Studies.  She also has a long history of working with children, including after-school programs, daycares, and youth groups.  She is currently a stay-at-home, homeschooling wife and mom.

Their passion is to see youth and families get excited about their relationship with Christ as they learn more about God’s incredible grace and His unconditional love toward them.  Their prayer is that as the youth understand this, it will overflow into the lives of those around them.
